[Free Workbook] Calm The Emotional Storm And Start Healing Faster
A special welcome to all of my new subscribers. I’m so happy to have you here in the Thriving Solo community 🙏
There is no confusion and pain quite like the aftermath of a divorce.
If you’ve subscribed to my newsletter, then I’m guessing you know exactly what I’m talking about when I quote the following person from one of my first-ever divorce support groups:
“Divorce feels like being in a car crash every day for two years”.
Oh, how I could (unfortunately) relate to this in those first years.
What knocked me around the most was the daily rollercoaster of emotions that keeps you in a world of confusion and overwhelm, no matter what you try.
This feeling is precisely why I created my ‘Emotional Mastery’ workbook for people going through turmoil.
Emotions can be overwhelming and sometimes terrifying after divorce. They have the ability to take the present moment and turn it into something to be endured and suffered through.
Divorce brings up grief, and grief feels like death.
There’s no end in sight when you are feeling this way. And it’s true; you don’t know how long you are going to be here.
But there is good news!
There are some small daily actions you can take to get through this period faster, and that’s where my workbook comes in.
To heal from pain, there are two essential steps we must take, no matter how difficult it may be.
Identify and acknowledge what it is that we are feeling.
Set and achieve tiny actionable goals each day to move us towards feeling stronger and more at peace.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to make each step tiny and manageable but also to celebrate every single one of those tiny steps.
This easy-to-follow guide will help you move from feeling overwhelmed and anxious about the future to knowing that healing from this is possible and you have the steps to get there.
Inside, I’ll teach you how to take control of your emotions and put a manageable recovery process into place.
My workbook exercises take less than ten minutes per day and give you a feeling of mastery and achievement over what is happening to you.
It also provides a proven record of your progress as you track through those first confusing weeks and months after divorce.
It doesn’t have to be the first stages of divorce, either. You can go back and use it at any time when you are struggling with big emotions or setbacks.
For example, if you are going through a particularly challenging period with your ex-spouse about a co-parenting or financial situation further down the divorce track.
Or if you are experiencing the end of another relationship after your divorce that has plunged you into emotional chaos.
Here’s the link to get your FREE copy. It comes with instructions on how to get the most out of using it.
It only takes a few minutes a day to start gaining control over your emotional chaos.
Make the commitment to yourself that you will take proactive steps to start functioning at a high level and get what needs to be done, done!
If you would like support to work through some of these things together or to discuss your unique situation, you can book a free 1:1 call with me, or you can email me if you have any questions. I always love to hear from my subscribers!
Until next week,
Carol
